Duke University slams White Lotus after disturbing storyline sparked viral March Madness meme
Series three of White Lotus and the latest NCAA basketball tournament have combined to take over most people's television screens throughout March. But - spoilers ahead - a surprise connection between Duke University and one of main White Lotus characters, Timothy Ratliff - played by Jason Isaacs - has left the school deeply uncomfortable. Ratliff arrives in Thailand, the setting for this season's White Lotus, with his family from North Carolina but quickly learns he is being investigated by the FBI back in the United States for his role in a financial deal.
