TheLuxartist, 33, opened night one of her four-night residency at Movistar Arena in Madrid on Monday, March 30, just four days after cutting a Milan stop short amid her brief illness.
"How are we feeling tonight? I'm so happy to be here," she told the crowd in Spain's capital city on Monday, perBillboard. "Last week, I wasn't feeling too well, but I'm much better now."
During Rosalía's March 25 show in Milan, she reportedly cut the performance short about 45 minutes after telling her fans she was experiencing discomfort from "big time food poisoning."
"I tried to do this show — since the beginning, I've been sick. I've had big-time food poisoning, and I've tried to push it till the end but I'm feeling extremely sick," said Rosalía,as seen in fan videos of the moment.
"I'm puking out there, and I really want to give the best show," the Grammy winner continued. "And I'm, like, on the floor, doing my best. I might try to keep going, but maybe at some point I have to stop. I'm extremely sick."

Rosalía told the crowd she was "really trying" and planned to "push as much as I can."
"But we might have to stop if I physically can't keep going," she added. "I'm in pain."
Rosalía's Lux Tour includes material from her ambitious album of the same name, and is divided into four acts, perBillboard. The album features both grand orchestral arrangements and electro-pop, all sung in 13 different languages, with each song inspired by a different Catholic saint or female religious figure.
The singer's current tourkicked off March 16 in Franceand continues with shows around the globe through September. The tour's U.S. leg begins on June 4 in Miami. The album came out in November 2025 and reached No. 4 on theBillboard200 chart.
