  • The former The View host wrote that she had thought she'd never do such a thing but felt her weight loss made her look like she was "melting."

  • After much thought, O'Donnell underwent the procedure, but she said no one has noticed.

Rosie O'Donnellhas officially introduced her new look.

The comedian and actress explained Tuesday onsocial mediathat she's undergone a facelift, something that she had previously been against. O'Donnell acknowledged her earlier take on the subject.

"I used to feel very strongly about facelifts. Not casually—morally," theSleepless in Seattlestar wrote in an abbreviated version of aSubstackentry. "I had assigned myself as head of all women who would never-ever. I thought it was a betrayal. Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide."

Not anymore. O'Donnell wrote that it was weight loss that changed her mind.

"And then I lost 50 pounds…" she noted. "It wasn't wrinkles— it was gravity. I'd look in the mirror and think, this isn't aging, this is… melting with intention. I tried to be evolved about it. And say things like, 'This is natural. This is earned.' And then… 'umm how earned does it have to look?' There's a point where acceptance starts to feel like lying."

The mother of five wrote that her 13-year-old daughter, Clay, whom she shared with late ex-wife Michelle Rounds, told her that she "wouldn't be able to respect" her if she went through with the procedure, something O'Donnell herself once would have said.

But she came to an important realization.

"If I'm teaching Clay anything," O'Donnell wrote, "it can't be that my body belongs to an idea either. Even a good idea. Even feminism. Because that's still not freedom — that's just a different authority telling you what you're allowed to do with your own face. I want them to grow up in a world where they don't feel like they have to change but also knows they can, if they want to, without losing moral standing in their own life. So in January, I did it."

She said that she turned to a doctor who had done work on friends of hers who "all still looked like themselves, just like they had recently been told good news."

Just before the procedure, O'Donnell recalled that she told her doctor she would never wish that they did more.

"I wanted to still be me, just… less haunted. And I do look like me — a slightly more well-rested emotionally stable version of me," O'Donnell wrote. "And here's the thing—no one has noticed. Not one person. Not a friend, not a stranger, not even people who owe me compliments. My teen daughter, has not said a word. Nothing. I went through a full existential feminist crisis, had my face and neck surgically altered, and the result is… zippo. Which honestly is the best possible outcome."

O'Donnell wrote too that she's grateful for the ability to "feel and choose and use my voice," unlike in the '90s before she felt comfortable coming out as a lesbian.

She concluded, "This is me."

Commenters were largely supportive: "Feminism has nothing to do with looking good and rested it’s about self confidence when gravity hits us all," one wrote.

Added another fan, "This is so vulnerable to admit. You can always change your opinions on things, and I love that you are speaking about it. You look great!"

O'Donnell famously relocated to Ireland in 2025, ahead of President Donald Trump's return to the presidency. The two havepublicly clashedfor decades.

Hailey Bieber makes a case for sequin bikinis in the pool with Calzedonia this summer

Hailey Bieber wore theCalzedonia Triangle Swimsuit Top Sequin Netwith the matchingString Swimsuit Bottom Sequin Net. The chic, minimalist string bikini’s soft, buttery cream hue perfectly complemented her sun-kissed skin tone. A delicate mesh embellished with sequins lined the microfiber fabric of both pieces.

The triangle top comes with removable cups and no underwire. The shoulder straps have eyelets on the ends so they can be hooked onto the back band or tied around the neck. Meanwhile, thin ties serve as the back closure. The matching bottoms tie at the sides and have a slightly rounded waist at the front, which allows for a high-cut fit. The bikini created a timeless, sun-drenched poolside aesthetic.

Bieber’s beauty look was natural and radiant, echoing the “no-makeup” summer look. She sported a luminous, dewy complexion that highlighted a natural, golden-hour glow across her cheekbones and nose. Her hair splayed out behind her back as she reclined by the poolside.

In the first photo, she posed with one hand tangled in her hair. She rested her head against a white cushion while gazing directly into the camera. Another photo showed her reclining poolside with her eyes closed, one hand resting on her forehead and the other placed at the waistline of her bottoms.

The caption for Calzedonia’s post read, “The glow hits different on [Hailey Bieber] wearing Calzedonia.” Fans praised her in the comments. One fan expressed their excitement for the new collection, “Browsing the official site right now, and everything is so good… I can’t decide ?

Brad Keselowski Details Final Encounter with Kyle Busch on Plane Days Before NASCAR Icon’s Tragic Death at 41 (Exclusive)

Brad Keselowski reflects on his rivalry with the late Kyle Busch in an interview with PEOPLE

NEED TO KNOW

  • He recalls their final encounter on a plane days before Busch died suddenly at age 41, noting Busch seemed unwell but he didn't think much of it

  • Keselowski also recalls having "visions" that the longtime NASCAR rivals might have reconciled someday

Brad Keselowski once had “visions” of him and rivalKyle Buschburying the hatchet in their old age. Now, he's remembering their final moments together.

Busch died at age 41 on Thursday, May 21,from severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis. Speaking with PEOPLE four days later, Keselowski, 42, recalled seeing the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion — his longtime rival — on a plane days before his sudden death.

“I was flying to Dover last week with Kyle,” he told PEOPLE on Monday, May 25, adding that “it was probably more by chance than anything else.”

Busch — who won his final race at the 2026 Ecosave 200 in the Delaware capital — was acting a bit differently than usual, Keselowski said of their final run-in outside of the racetrack.

“Kyle is normally a fairly gregarious person, very outgoing and he wasn't. He sat down one row behind me and next to me and fell asleep right away and I could tell he wasn't feeling well,” Keselowski said, adding that at the time, he “didn't really think that much of it, to be honest.”

“And that was pretty much the last time I saw him. We were in a race and you get in a race and you don't really see each other,” the Michigan native added. “So I saw him on the racetrack.”

Keselowski also shared that he is going to miss the “rivalry” he shared with Busch, and revealed that he often thought about putting it behind them someday.

“I guess I had visions before his death of... actually, I thought about this multiple times: What's it going to be like when we're both in the Hall of Fame and we're doing some kind of ceremony together, whatever that might be? Will the hatchet be buried? I think so,” he told PEOPLE. “And will we actually be able to share a laugh about it? I guess in my mind, I hope so and now obviously not.”

“The hard part is the closure was supposed to be when we were retired and when we were done racing together and I don't think that's just for me, by the way,” he later added. “I think that's for a lot of people. And to not get that is tough.”

But Keselowski clarified, “The loss of Kyle Busch is much greater than how it affects me, and so I don't wish to belittle that.”

Of their rivalry, Keselowski also told PEOPLE that it changed shape over time, but how he finished in a race next to Busch was always on top of his mind.

“For whatever reason, Kyle and I had built into a relationship where although there's 30-some other drivers on the racetrack, I valued meeting him more than anyone else,” he explained. “Fifth place day and race is generally a good day. It's not a great day, but it's a good day. With a fifth place day where Kyle Busch finished fourth didn't feel like a good day. And conversely, a 10th place day where I beat Kyle Busch felt like a better day.”

“That's what a rivalry is at its core and that's how I felt about it," added Keselowski.

That being said, the NASCAR driver told PEOPLE, “time has a way of changing things. And I'll tell you as I reflect on it, what I'm going to miss the most about Kyle is the rivalry.”

“It's the middle of the season head-on one-on-ones that we had at different racetracks, and knowing he was the guy to beat and I was the guy to beat him," he continued. "And him knowing that, and kind of having that rivalry where we didn't talk to each other.”

“And when we were in settings together, we stood on opposite ends of the room,” Keselowski added. “In the moment, that didn't feel all that pleasant, but it sure beats the reality of today.”
